Scouts interested in orienteering or who are working on First Class can stop by for the instruction sheet for the self-guided course.
On Wednesday at 3:30-4:10pm outside of the Dining Hall, we hold an orienteering competition consisting of 15 unmarked courses. Points are assigned according to course difficulty. The highest score wins!
at the Campcraft Area
Leaders prepare their best recipes in the Campcraft area. Judging is at 4 p.m., followed immediately by an open tasting. A Dutch oven, onion powder, ground beef, canned beans, stewed tomatoes, and chili powder will be provided. Adult leaders need to bring their own additional materials and secret ingredients to make their chili the best.
This is for leaders with a sweet tooth. Dutch ovens and charcoal can be accessed in the Campcraft area if needed. Ingredients are the responsibility of the leaders, cooking can take place in the campsite or the area and judging will take place in the Campcraft area.
