Each Troop has a Ranger and Commissioner assigned to support them throughout their week at Camp Meriwether.
The Ranger is Camp Meriwether’s “Troop Guide,” there to be a friend to your scouts, show you around camp, and help make your week at camp fun and enjoyable. You can expect them to eat meals with you and come by your campsite periodically throughout the day. If you have a linked Troop, you will have a Ranger for each Troop.
The Commissioner will support your adult leaders by answering questions, providing resources, and helping fix problems you Troop might have encountered with our program or facilities. They can also arrange service projects for your Troop, whether to complete Honor Troop or simply to give back. You should expect them to visit your campsite at least once a day and you can also find them at the daily Leader Meeting.
