Campers looking to hone their angling abilities can do so at our lake, Lake Chamberlain. The fishing is reportedly quite excellent, and is best towards the south end of the lake where the water is deepest. Campers can find a small fishing dock here which is accessible via a small trail that splits off from the main Lake Trail near White Eagle campsite. The lake is stocked with both anadromous (meaning fish that migrates from the sea to fresh water to spawn, like salmon) Rainbow Trout, also known as Steelhead Trout, and potamodromous Rainbow Trout (which spends its whole life in freshwater). There are no licensing requirements, as the lake is privately owned and stocked.
There will be fishing supplies available for campers to use, though you are welcome to bring your own as well.
