We use the standard BSA Swim Test. Scouts and adults must pass the “Swimmer” test to use most areas of the Waterfront. For more information on the BSA’s swim test, see the Safe Swim Defense guidelines in The Guide to Safe Scouting. Participants can do the swim test during the Camp Tour or during open swim throughout the week.

Cascade Pacific Council summer camps do not accept pre-camp swim checks. Lakes have very different conditions than swimming pools and we need to ensure that scouts and adults can swim safely.
