To ensure a smooth check in process on Sunday arrivals, we are scheduling campsites to arrive between 12:00PM-2:00PM. This will allow us to get everyone swim checked, med checked, and tours to go without much bottlenecking. You will be receiving an arrival time by email, two weeks prior to your week at Pioneer.

We must ask that each troop plan their travel so that they arrive at their allocated time slot. Arriving Early will mean you will be waiting for your scheduled time in our parking lot. Arriving late will mean waiting for the current group to check in. Please call if your check-in time will not work for you.

We recommend that troops plan to meet at a staging area a few miles from camp, get all your vehicles organized, and leave that staging area together so that you arrive at their appointed times.

Here are a few suggested meeting areas:

• Detroit Area (about 30 min NE of camp, according to Google Maps…links below)
  • Detroit Park (Nearby free Gigabit Wi-Fi)
  • Driftwood Grill (Great pizza! Takes 30 mins to get, could call ahead)
• Idanha (about 15ish mins NE of camp. Free Wi-Fi opposite the Post Office)
  • Country Store (Better for small groups)
