Use of helmets are required by all participants using the sledding hill. The Council has purchased helmets for community use. Youth and Adults are welcome to bring their own helmets for use, i.e. bicycle helmets, ski and snowboard helmets. Sanitation will be used in-between uses.

Lodge Service Days

Aubrey Watzek Lodge

Lodge Service Days are opportunities for your units to gain early access to reservation system to ensure space for your preferred weekend. Woodcuts occur on the second weekend of September and the Lodge Clean-up Happens on the second weekend of October. To sign your unit up for any of these service days, please click the link below.

$$ Cost:

Cub Scouts: $10 person per day, payable at time of reservation. Lodge daytime capacity for this event is 200.

Scouts BSA: $20 per person, per day, payable at time of reservation. Aubrey Lodge overnight capacity is 120 total youth and adults.

Refunds:

No refunds will be made. The ONLY exception is when ODOT closes the highway. Winter weather conditions are not reason for refund. The number of spaces you reserve should be as close as possible to the number of youth and adults planning to attend as the payment is non-refundable.

Participation requirements:

• Participants must be registered members of Scouting units, or prospective members (of the correct age and gender). Siblings and children other than registered Scouts in the unit are not permitted to attend winter lodge unit days; no exceptions are made to this policy; except Cub Scout Family Days. Cub Scout Family Snow Days will permit siblings or family members of Cub Scout age to attend as well

• Units must have unit accident insurance in effect at time of activity. Cascade Pacific Council units have insurance provided thru the council.

Sno-Park Permits

Sno-Park permits are REQUIRED by Oregon ODOT and the parking areas are patrolled regularly by Oregon State Police. Plan on receiving a ticket if you do not have a Sno-Park permit properly displayed. Click here for more information.
