Camp Pioneer is a beautiful and rustic camp for Scouts, by Scouts. Our small and friendly staff will strive to meet your needs and exceed your expectations. We aim to know every scout by name and give everyone in our camp a personalized experience.
Our lake is stocked with trout. Due to this, we ask that scouts only catch two fish (if they are to be eaten); after that, it is catch-and-release only. We ask that adults only catch and release. Fishing poles are available for rent at the Trading Post, but feel free to bring your own!
Please use barbless hooks. Barbed hooks are not allowed in the lake.
There is a fish cleaning station located near Lookout campsite. Please do all fish gutting there. Fish gutting is not allowed in campsites or other sinks. Please put all remains in the designated bucket.
Troops should arrive by 12:00 on Sunday. The parking lot will open at 11:00.
Departures will be Saturday at 8:30 AM; please have all transportation ready by that time.
